Police have raided an Invercargill building, as they search for marijuana plants.

SEARCH: Invercargill police search a River St storage building in a suspected drugs bust.

Up to five police are inspecting a business in River St, which looks like storage building.

A pile of plants are outside the building, and police at the scene pulling apart timber frame inside the building and dismantling lights.

No cordon is in place. No further details are available.
