Verdon College performers have taken home a design award at the national Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival in Wellington.

The group, directed by pupils Kameron Corbin and Shaun Swain, won outstanding costume design for a student-directed piece for their extract from MacBeth this week.

Fellow Verdon College pupil Tilly van Eeden was awarded second prize in the Sheilah Winn static image contest. Her prize-winning poster will be displayed at the Globe Theatre in London.
