COLLISION: Emergency services workers had to cut a man from a car after a two-car crash.

A man was trapped in a car following a two-car crash in Invercargill this morning.

Southern District Deployment Command Centre Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said emergency services rushed to the crash on Preston St just after 8am.

A male was trapped in a car and cut out by the fire service, he said.

Ambulance was called to take the man to hospital. No further details were available.
