A young woman has been hospitalised after being hit by a car in Dunedin this morning.
The incident happened on Cumberland St in central Dunedin about 7am today.
A police spokesman said initial reports were that a young female pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Traffic was not believed to be affected.
A St John spokeswoman said the pedestrian was taken to Dunedin Hospital with minor injuries.
