A boy has been injured on the ILT Kidzone Stunt Jump.
Festival director Laura Russell said a boy was taken to Southland Hospital yesterday afternoon after injuring himself on the Stunt Jump, a 6m-high jumping platform.
Russell would not disclose the boy's injuries, but said he had not followed correct landing procedure.
Children and parents wanting to try the activity were taught the landing procedure before being allowed on, and were tested again before they jumped, she said.
The Stunt Jump also had a height restriction, and was operated by the most experienced team on site, Russell said.
