Veteran hooker Jason Rutledge has ruptured his left bicep during the Stags game against Bay of Plenty on Friday night and is out for the rest of the season.The injury occurred while making a tackle during the game.
Rutledge underwent surgery on Sunday and will require rehabilitation for three to six months before returning to rugby.It is the same injury sustained by David Hall and Brad Thorn this season.Rutledge has played 131 for the Stags since 2000.
