We know in the south we're not shy of gobbling the odd pie or two. So the Times would like our readers to answer the question for our entire readership area.

Is the best pie in Tuatapere, Queenstown, Roxburgh, hidden away at Winton or at Five Rivers?

Email or fax where you think you get get the best pie in Southland and we'll publish the results next week.

I like Jimmys pies they usedt to sell them in my nannys pub down Bluff. I could only eat them when we came down to visit as we didn't get them out of Southland. They got peas in them. Mmm!

That place in Te Anau - can't recall the name, but outstanding pies.

Pies are pretty rubbish food though - not sure I'd be wanting that to be a tourist draw!
