Police are investigating a suspicious fire in an unoccupied Invercargill house early this morning.
Firefighters were called to the intersection of Tay and Jackson streets about 2am to find the house fire well-involved.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and will appear in the Invercargill District Court today charged with arson.
