The Chair of Neurosurgery project manager has announced that people in the south will have the opportunity to see the new hit musical version of Mary Poppins when it plays in Auckland later this year and help raise money for the service at the same time.
In association with the campaign, House of Travel Otago has organised a fully guided tour to Auckland for people wanting to see the show on the weekend of November 3.
Project manager Irene Mosley – who will be leading the tour – said for every ticket booked, $100 would go towards the campaign.
The House of Travel Otago trip will be guided from Dunedin Airport for up to 20 people to enjoy a weekend in Auckland.
"We believe that there are lots of people out there who would love to go to these shows, but feel the hassle of getting there is too much to bother with," Mrs Mosley said.
"By planning this tour and taking all the worry out of it for people, they can come along and enjoy the fun, plus know that they are supporting a great cause at the same time."
