Invercargill police are looking for a man believed responsible for a series of thefts from cars in Grasmere and Windsor in the last week.
The man has been filmed entering driveways and stealing from unlocked cars as well as cars parked on the streets.
Police appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
It was a reminder for people to lock their cars even if they are on their property, they said.
