Southern property developer Ross Wensley’s former Invercargill home has been sold.
Invercargill Harcourts manager Daryl SpencentsTnte said the property was sold by his agency last week.
Mr Spence said he could not comment on who bought the house or how much the house was sold for.
In 2011 the property had a rateable value of $2.4 million.
The sale came after the home, at 43-45 Rosewood Dr, was passed in at a mortgagee auction last month, Mr Spence said.
Auctioneer John Murphy said after the auction a bid of $1.15 million on behalf of the ANZ bank was was "not quite" at a level acceptable to the vendors and the property was passed in.
Mr Wensley declined to comment when contacted by the Southland Times today.
