A woman found asleep behind the wheel of a car in Gore will appear in court next month on a drink-driving charge.
Constable Clint Wright, of Gore, said the woman was found asleep on Wednesday at the wheel of a vehicle in the middle of Kitchener St at 5.10am, after a member of the public called police.
She had a breath alcohol level of 969mcg, he said.
