A woman is in Dunedin hospital after being hit in the face with a bottle during an incident in an Alexandra hotel on Friday night.
Senior Sergeant Ian Kerrisk, of Alexandra police, said they were called at 10pm after receiving a report about a bottling incident involving women.
One of the women received a significant cut to her face and was taken to hospital and the other was arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour.
