Australian comic duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have been spotted in Invercargill.

The pair were in the city today filming their Caravan of Courage Australia v New Zealand series.

The pair said they spent time with Invercargill mayor Tim Shadbolt today but would head to Fiordland tomorrow.

They have spent the past week touring Otago and Southland.

Highlights so far were cruising down Dunedin's Baldwin St and finding the perfect New Zealand-made cardigan at Queenstown Airport, they said.

''We decided to go to Fiordland because we thought it might be warm,'' Blake said yesterday as the duo left Mayor Tim Shadbolt's office at the Invercargill City Council, with a Che Shadbolt t-shirt.

This is Blake's second time in the city in the past week - he also visited last Tuesday for the premiere of his movie Two Little Boys.
