Police in Queenstown want the public's help after a parking rage incident yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said a man threatened to punch a traffic warden on Marine Pde at 2.15pm.

He didn't punch the warden but grabbed a portable ticket machine, threw it into Queenstown Bay and ran off.

The offender is described as a skinny man in his 20s, wearing a light blue or white baseball cap, a bright green hoodie with wavy stripes and blue jeans.
