And, in Southland we have plenty of that, according to former All Blacks coach Sir Graham Henry.
Henry was in Gore on Saturday to coach some of Southland's best young rugby players.
''It is all in your make up, it's in your DNA,'' he said.
Hnery passed on words of wisdom during a coaching clinic with the first XV players from Gore High School and Menzies and St Peter's Colleges.
After watching the mixed teams play together, he said he was amazed at the talent Southland has to offer.
He had been in Gore as a guest speaker at the Gore District Community Awards on Friday night.
