James Hargest College has sent a “stranger danger” warning to parents of pupils at the school.
The warning says “recently students in the Hargest/Rosedale area have been approached by a man travelling in a white van. He has asked students if they would like a ride and also tried to grab them.
"Please warn children in your care of 'Stranger Danger' and encourage them to make sure they are with others. Please let the Police and the school know of any suspicious incidents that could be related.
"The school has notified the Police and are working closely with them.”
