The cast of 60 year 7 to 10 students has been rehearsing for six weeks, and teachers in charge of the production said the vibrant show not only had great music but cool characters, memorable performances, and a good mix of comedy and drama.
Oklahoma! is on at CentreStage Theatre, Don St, at 7.30pm tonight and tomorrow.
Tickets are $15 adults, $10 seniors and students with ID. Door sales are available.
Oklahoma! was the first musical written by Rodgers and Hammerstein, which opened on Broadway in 1943, and which received a Pulitzer Prize special award and citation in 1944.
Set in Oklahoma Territory in 1906, the musical tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams.
