Alexandra police are warning the public not to approach Simon James Garrick, who is wanted after failing to appear in the Alexandra District Court.
Garrick, 41, was believed to have been living in the Queenstown Lakes region but is thought to be in Dunedin.
He is described as being of thin build and 185cm tall.
Sergeant Derek Ealson , of Alexandra, said Garrick was wanted on outstanding warrants.
Mr Garrick should not be approached by members of the public, Mr Ealson said.
Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Alexandra Police or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
