Police want to talk to an Irishman who allegedly punched a bouncer in the face in Queenstown.
Senior Constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown, said the man was refused entry to the Boiler Room at 3am on Thursday, punched the bouncer and ran off.
Inquiries were continuing in an effort to trace the man, who had short black hair and was wearing a white top with a pink stripe.
At 3.10am a 26-year-old American man was given a pre-charge warning after he was refused entry into the Boiler Room.
He started throwing items around and acted aggressively when he was turned away.
