Two men have been arrested and charged with the arson attack on James Hargest College on January 3.
The men, aged 18 and 19, will appear in Invercargill District Court this afternoon charged with arson and burglary.
Fire ripped through a six classroom block at the school in the early hours of January 3, causing $700,000 of damage.
The classrooms were undergoing a $1.5 million refurbishment.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Grant Johnstone said the men have also been charged with a smaller arson at the school on October 7, where wooden picnic tables were torched in a school quadrangle.
