This week's photograph is by Times' chief photographer Robyn Edie.
Madeline Collard was a tricky typical three-year-old to photograph as she is a busy little girl.
The Times' was covering Madeline's story as she has recently received two cochlear ear implants and was scheduled to have surgery remove cysts from her brain.
She was a great little model - warm and affectionate. Assignments like wee Maddy make our job all the more rewarding and meeting her and her family makes it feel like we share a bond together. They are in our thoughts.
