This week's photograph is by Times' chief photographer Robyn Edie.
Edie says covering the Silver Ferns v Australian Diamonds test at the SIT Zerofees velodrome was the one chance for our southern photographers to cover an international calibre netball test in the south this year.
Netball is a challenging subject to photograph because of the low light and fast action of the sport.
The photograph ideally needs to show the action, have the subjects (preferrably one from each team) in focus and to have the ball in the shot.
With the pressure of deadlines making for a hectic time when not trying to get a great shot we are busy processing to get them through to the national filing system.
But, it's great to have the opportunity to be part of such an exciting game and atmosphere here in Invercargill.
