A bus has crashed near Te Anau but no serious injuries have been reported.
Police were called to the crash, about 10km out of Te Anau on the Milford Road, at about 10.30am.
An ambulance spokesman said a crew arrived shortly after police with a doctor from Te Anau.
It was believed the bus was travelling towards Milford Sound.
Assessments of an unknown number of passengers were still being completed but so far no one had been transported to Southland Hospital or the Fiordland Medical Practice in Te Anau, the spokesman said.
