Roundabout crash
A car and bicycle collided in Invercargill, at the intersection of Dee and Tay streets. The cyclist was taken to hospital.

Police and St John Ambulance were called to a collision between a bicycle and a car at the intersection of Dee St and Tay St just before 1pm today.

A 76-year-old woman was taken to Southland Hospital with moderate injuries, including back injuries, an ambulance spokesman said.

A witness said the cyclist was wearing a fluorescent vest and that the windscreen of a green car at the intersection was smashed.
