Lights are being hung and glasses polished as organisers get ready for the WHK Cancer Society Gala Ball at the Ascot Park Hotel tomorrow.

All 350 tickets have been sold for the black tie event that will feature the band The Lady Killers, which will be supported by The Business.

WHK has again been named as the naming rights sponsor.

Managing principal Neil McAra said earlier this year that the company was delighted to continue its support.

The inaugural ball in 2011 raised nearly $30,000 that remained in Southland to support families who had been impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
