Police want to talk to a woman called ''Lola'' who may be able to help detectives investigating the knifepoint robbery of two Japanese tourists.
More than 35,000 people have viewed CCTV footage of the man police say robbed the tourists in a basement car park at FreshChoice supermarket on August 1 at 9.45pm.
Police also released an enhanced image and a stylised sketch drawn by one of the victims showing a thin-lipped man with a chinstrap-type beard, goggles and a headlamp.
Senior constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown, today said police wanted to talk to a woman who was out socialising in the resort on August 1.
It was possible she was socialising in Harry's Pool Bar, he said.
''She is not considered a suspect but may be able to assist the detectives with their continuing investigations.''
The man, whose face was covered by a beanie or head covering, left via a car sales yard on the intersection of Gorge Rd and Hylton Pl opposite the supermarket.
