More than 3500 television sets were collected for recycling in Southland during the second phase of the TV TakeBack programme, the Ministry for the Environment says.
The recycling cost in the South Island was subsidised by the Government from March 25 until August 21 and hundreds dropped off their sets at a series of collection points.
