People are being asked to be aware of fake collectors in Invercargill who say they are collecting for the Child Cancer Foundation.
The Child Cancer Foundation today sent out a statement saying it does not collect door-to-door at anytime.
The foundation says if people are approached at home from people claiming to represent Child Cancer Foundation to contact the Invercargill police, who are aware of the issue.
