Invercargill firefighters were called to a mobile coffee vendor fire outside the Southland District Council building this morning.
A fire service communications spokesman said firefighters were called to the Forth St address about 8.10am, after reports of a fire in a car selling coffee.
There was no visible fire when the crew arrived and no one was injured, the spokesman said.
A power inverter, which was believed to be faulty, was then removed from the vehicle, he said.
