No arrests have been made following an armed offenders squad callout to a Southland farm last week.
Police were called to an Omaui Rd address on Monday last week after Corey Vreugdenhil said his neighbour, Les Cooper, had pointed a long-barrelled rifle at him from Mr Cooper's balcony.
Area commander Inspector Lane Todd said yesterday that no arrests had been made, but police inquiries were continuing.
"It's a protracted matter," Mr Todd said.
There has been a long-running feud between the two neighbours, with more than 15 incidents between the pair during the past six years, police documents say.
