Wyndham fire crews were called to a house fire early this morning.

A pump and tanker were sent to a double storey house in Ferry St at 3.15am.

Southern fire communications shift manager Karl Patterson said the crews arrived to a smoke logged house.

The bottom storey had smoke smoldering from it, he said.

The fire was put out and the house was ventilated.

There were no reports of injury, he said.
