Rain has forced this afternoon's Hope Philippines concert indoors.

The concert was to have been held in Queens Park this afternoon, but it will now be held at Players Entertainment Centre, starting at 4pm.

Thousands of people were killed and many more left with nothing when Typhoon Haiyan tore across the country in November.

Among the performers at this afternoon's concert would be Rhythmonyx, Bryan Townley, Lipstick, Into the East and D & M Blues Avenue, Jack Fraser, Steve Broad, Dene Allen, Tahne Brown, Bikini, Otepuni Moonshine, Little Green Men, Rogue, Hollie Longman, Jacqui Williams, Jesse Brand, and Filipino performer Shelley Ballantine.

All funds donated by the audience would be given to charity organisation ADRA, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, which is working on the ground in the Philippines.

Collectors in onesies would collect the donations.

The concert will run from 4pm until late.
