Firefighters dismantled a vending machine after a young girl got her arm stuck in it this morning.
The girl, who was presumably trying to retrieve some food from inside the machine at the Interislander terminal in Wellington, got her arm stuck about 7.30am, a Fire Service spokesman said.
Firefighters had to dismantle the machine to get the girl’s arm out.
She was freed by about 8am.
