A 21-year-old man facing weapons and violence charges was granted bail in the Invercargill District Court yesterday.
The charges were laid after police were called to a serious family violence incident in Invercargill on December 26.
The man is facing charges of possessing a knife, threatening to do grievous bodily harm and threatening to injure with intent.
He is expected to reappear in court on December 31.
