A Clyde woman is celebrating after collecting a top prize of $40,000 on a Slice of Paradise crossword Instant Kiwi ticket.
But the winning doesn't stop there for this winner, who also won $1000 with the same game just three days before hitting the jackpot.
''I regularly buy a $3 Slice of Paradise ticket and it was pretty amazing to win $1000 - let alone to win $40,000 three days later,'' the winner said.
''The team at Clyde Four Square, where I bought the winning tickets, were really excited about my wins - the next time I visited, they had their 'winning store' posters up and everyone was buzzing,'' the winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said.
The owners of Clyde Four Square, Michael and Judy, are over the moon about their customer's good fortune.
''It puts us on such a high - it's hard to believe two big prizes were sold at our store so close together, let alone to the same person,'' Michael said.
''We've been telling everybody how lucky we've been and it makes them think 'oh, we might give it a go ourselves', which is great.''
The store is on a winning streak, having also sold a winning Bullseye ticket which netted $10,000 for a lucky local.
