Police are investigating an assault in Invercargill.
A police communications spokesman said police were called to an address in O'Hara St in the early hours of this morning.
The street was cordoned off with police investigating evidence at the scene.
There was broken glass caused by smashed windows and blood at the scene, he said.
A police dog and ambulance were also called out.
One person was taken to hospital and another person was helping police with their inquiries, he said.
