It was a rather sticky ending to a scenic flight for one thrillseeker last night.
A parapenter ended up in a tree in Queenstown after he misjudged his landing.
Acting Sargent Hugh O'Reilly, of Queenstown, said police were called to the scene of the incident but by the time they arrived the man had managed to get down from the tree.
Mr O'Reilly said it appeared the man had failed to land properly, not quite making the school field.
However, despite his tree-top landing, he appeared uninjured.
