A 49-year-old man has been arrested in Invercargill for burglaries and stealing from vehicles.
Acting Sergeant Andrew Karsten, of Invercargill, said the man was arrested on Tuesday and appeared in the Invercargill District Court yesterday facing two charges of theft from cars, two of burglary and an unrelated domestic matter. Police believed the offences took place in the Fosbender Park area and Richmond. The man was remanded in custody to April 11, Karsten said.
Police were seeking information about a maroon Nissan Skyline seen in the Fosbender Park-Sandy Pt area between Monday and Tuesday.
