Police have seized more than 60 cannabis plants after a raid in South Otago.
Relieving detective sergeant Stan Leishman, of Balclutha, said South Otago police and members of the Dunedin Tactical Crime Unit searched three houses in Milton, Kaitangata and Waitahuna yesterday.
They seized indoor cannabis cultivation equipment, 68 plants in various stages of maturity, dried cannabis and cannabis oil, he said.
The find was ''significant'' for the Clutha area, he said.
A Kaitangata man faces charges of cultivation and possession for the purpose of supply, while others would also face charges, Leishman said.
