One of the biggest blazes in Southland's history reignited yesterday a week after it first started.
The Gore fire brigade was called to the Livestock Supplies building yesterday morning after two small fires broke out from hot spots at the site.
The building, storing fertiliser products, was engulfed by fire on April 13.
Fire Communications shift manager Brent Dunn said it was common for small fires to break out after such a large fire, even days after the event.
The firefighters quickly put the small fires out yesterday, and dampened down other hot spots before leaving.
