Three people accused of involvement in a kidnapping and attack in Queenstown were further remanded to August 9 when they appeared in Invercargill District Court yesterday.

Rachel Maree Faul, 20, Brooke Sylvia Carpenter, 17, and Charlotte Amelia Spencer Dickson, 19, appeared before Judge Kevin Phillips yesterday where a timetable was set for defence lawyers and the Crown.

All three were remanded on bail to August 9 for a crown day in Invercargill and a two-day hearing date would be set after July 31.

Bail conditions include to reside at their addresses, not to be found away from home between 11pm and 6am unless in the company of parents, and not to purchase, possess or consume illicit drugs.

Crown solicitor Mary-Jane Thomas said the alleged offending was serious, occurred at night and involved drugs.
