A 17-year-old Clyde man charged with disfiguring unsuspecting young people by burning them with a heated cigarette lighter was remanded without plea until January 16 by Judge Stephen O'Driscoll in the Alexandra District Court yesterday.

Daniel Trevor Nelson faces two charges of injuring with the intent to injure after he attacked two people with a heated lighter on the head and face area after they had fallen asleep at parties between October 1 and November 30.
