The 30-year-old man accused of murdering Invercargill woman Nicola Jean Fleming at an Invercargill hostel will stand trial in May.
In a hearing at the High Court in Invercargill this morning, Justice Graham Lang remanded murder accused David Jackson Mahia in custody and set his trial date for May 12.
Mahia faces a charge of murder and another of sexually violating Ms Fleming, 38, by unlawful sexual connection on February 9. Ms Fleming was found dead in her room at the Haven accommodation hostel in Tyne St.
