Two men charged with an alleged home invasion in South Otago were remanded in custody in the Dunedin District Court this morning.

Zand Taitoa Currie, 19, of Kaka Point and Daniel Tipene Te Moananui, 33, of Inch Clutha appeared separately on a number of charges, including a joint charge of entering a home at Kaka Point and another joint charge of causing grievous bodily harm to Kaka Point resident Pamela Paterson on December 8.

Currie reappears on Friday for a bail hearing. Te Moananui was remanded until January 17, next year.
