A 33-year-old man is to face a manslaughter charge when he appears in court today after the death of a man in a South Auckland car park earlier this month.
The man was granted name suppression when he first appeared in Manukau District Court on an assault charge, the day after the body of Savelio Uati Peauvasa, 43, from Glen Eden in West Auckland, was found in the car park at the Otara Shopping Centre on November 1.
Police confirmed the man would face a manslaughter charge when he appeared again today.
