A Canadian coroner has identified the seventh severed foot that washed up on the bank of a British Columbia river last month as belonging to Vancouver man who committed suicide.
Police said the foot belonged to a man reported missing in January 2008. The man's identity is being withheld at the family's request.
The foot, found on October 27, is the seventh severed foot to wash ashore in British Columbia since August 2007.
One other foot has been identified as belonging to a man thought to have committed suicide. The other feet include a female pair, a male pair, and a man's right foot.
Police say all of the feet separated from the bodies naturally in the water and foul play is not suspected.
