Despite the fact that so many of the population seem to be doing their very best to destroy our wee planet, there are people out there who want to make a difference.
I'm not a hairy-armpitted tree-hugging hippie or anything, but I do try to stick to the reduce/re-use/recycle method of waste management and truly do appreciate just how lucky we are to have clean, safe water available at the turn of a tap.
However, that water is a precious but diminishing commodity. The video Hidden Water looks at the global water crisis, which will be the central issue facing our world this century, and encourages us to do something now, before it is too late.
Sure, the statistics quoted relate to the United States, but the message is still very important.
(Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for any numbers that may be incorrect in the video. From what I can tell it is all legit but as we all know, sometimes things on the web are not as transparent as they seem. Although I'm pretty sure the website that says Elvis is alive and working at a doughnut shop in Texas is telling the truth, because no one would lie about the King, would they?)
