Leitch ready for champs

Invercargill driver Damon Leitch can't wait for the action to get under way at the second round of the 2009-10 Formula Ford Championship at Ruapuna in Christchurch this weekend.
The 16-year-old finished second overall at the opening round at Pukekohe in his Zero Fees Stealth three weeks ago after a huge battle with Nick Cassidy, of Auckland.
There was little between the duo in the battle, and it looks set to continue at Ruapuna where local driver Matt Penrose will also be a big factor.
Oil pressure problems sustained at Pukekohe have been rectified.
The weekend began with testing yesterday and qualifying this morning, with the first race to follow, and two more races tomorrow.
