Don't underestimate women of Steel

Megan Dehn thinks Southern Steel fans should head down to the TAB and put some money on her side to win this year's trans-Tasman netball competition.
The TAB released its odds for the overall winner of this year's ANZ Championship last week, with Steel installed as seventh favourite out of the 10 teams at $12.
Steel were rated the third-best Kiwi side behind the Northern Mystics and Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic – both paying $7.
The Melbourne Vixens are short-priced favourites for the title at $2.50.
Dehn thought the bookies would have rated Steel a little higher than they had, but believed the odds could benefit Steel fans who decided to place a bet. "I think someone can make some good money," she laughed.
"Maybe they should go and put some money on it."
Steel coach Robyn Broughton was not too concerned either – confessing that she was not much of a punter. "I wouldn't even have a clue how it works. God knows what it means," she said.
Last year, Steel paid $13 at the start of the season for the title and were rated sixth overall, but surprised the TAB making the top four playoffs.
With experienced campaigners Adine Wilson, Donna Wilkins, Megan Hutton and Silver Fern defender Katrina Grant not returning this season, the TAB obviously thinks Steel will find the going tough.
Daneka Wipiiti and Leana de Bruin have each had long breaks from top-level netball after giving birth late last year.
