Spectators lined the banks of the Oreti River, near Invercargill, on Saturday during the finals of the Waihopai Rowing Club's Corpor8 Challenge regatta.

The 12th edition of the popular event saw more than 400 competitors take to the water in ideal conditions, with Preston Russell Law winning the eights for the third year in a row after beating the Invercargill fire brigade, Verdon College and GWD Russells in the final.

Environment Southland won the quads.

Times' photographer was on hand to capture all the action.
